Toolbar Emptied after Firefox update

Hi Folks

1 Once again another very annoying glitch with Firefox. I had saved a number of links to frequently used sites, on the toolbar, for easy access. Suddenly I look today and they are gone! Im nearly sure there was a Firefox update a day or 2 ago, and this appears to have done the damage. Its not serious; I can just look them up manually. But its annoying!

2 Also, when I shut down Firefox (which I rarely do), on restart it comes up with the "oops this is embarassing..." message and says it cannot load the tabs, or something to that effect. Again its not life-threatening as it gives the option to restore. But a bit annoying!

I havent tried IE9. Any Firefox users out there who think its better?!

thanks!

No updates for Firefox for a while so can't be that.
I am using the IE9 beta version and although I was having problems with it I managed to find the culprit that was causing it.[WOT]
IE9 is as good as Firefox if not better.

I have found that Firefox can not display the National Express site,it just crashes and a restart also gives me the "oops" message.

Works o.k. in IE8 I would give IE9 a go but my bank site doesn't like it.
