I wanted to get rid of the partition on my PC so reformatted but ever since the resolution is too low to read a lot of progrms and there is no sound. Because the resolution is too low I cannot connect to the internet.

Might be an obvious solution, but have you installed the drivers for your graphics and sound cards?

Well you know what they say, great minds think alike! I'm not very techy, but I try to help where I can.

Don't forget to install the mobo chipset drivers first so that AGP is enabled, then install the latest graphics and sound drivers.

I would do but I don't have them.

  mattyc_92 10:49 18 Feb 06

So they are built-in the motherboard?
if this is the case, your motherboard's cd-rom disk should have the drivers!!

If you don't have the motherboard driver CD, then you'll be able to download the drivers from the motherboard web site. If you don't know what motherboard you have, download and install Belarc Advisor click here. If you need any help identifying the drivers, post the motherboard make and model here, and we'll help.
