Hi this question may sound silly to you,but here goes i have just had a tomtom one xl and there is a bluetooth facility available on this,can someone please enliten me on what purpose this blutooth is for i have a bluetooth mobile phone now i know what that does but what does tomtom bluetooth do??.Thanks daiol.

i think it makes it a hands free kit... as far as im aware...

I don't think the One XL has handsfree phone functionality, so the link of the Sat Nav to your mobile is to access Traffic information. However it needs a GPRS functionality on the phone so there is a cost of usage and you shoould check whether your phone is compatible with the One XL as not all phones are.

I have TomTom connected to my phone and I am also on Pay as You Go. If you want to download TomTom traffic the cost per time is absolutely minimal
