Titan Fenrir and Phenom X2

Hi,

Just bought some new hardware to start building my first custom PC. But I think I've made a mistake already.

I have bought a Titan Fenrir TTC-NK85TZ and an AMD Phenom II X2 550 (Black Edition). Just noticed looking on the side of the Titan Fenrir packaging that it supports AMD Phenom X3 and X4, I don't see X2 on there.

Should I be worrying about this and start thinking about exchanging for a different CPU cooler?

Appreciate any thoughts, thanks.

If it supports X3 & X4 it'll be absolutely fine for X2 - they all use the same type of clip fastening arrangement. G

It supports AMDSocketAM2+/AM2/AM3/940/939/754/K8
and Intel Socket 775/1366 with various adapters.

Your AMD Phenom II X2 550 is socket AM3.

Thanks guys.

Better to make sure I guess. I'll start building then :)

Thanks again.
