Hi

Has anyone set up web forwarding from a free tiscali web space?

i have a domain of click here - i am going into my domain provider account and inserting: //myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mysite as the web fwding.

so when someone types in click here they are directed to click here.

Have i set this up correctly!? or do i need to add more details, perhaps http: before.... //myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mysite. i.e click here

Thanks

Is the forwarding working? If not, what do you get when you go to your domain name?

No.. it isnt working...

It takes a while to come up, then it says: The address is not valid

which is why im checking ive put in the correct details..

thanks

Yes, you will need http: before the first forward slash.

i need to put this in the web fwding box do i?

so... ive gone in and added the http: - and now i receive this message in my domain name account:

1 error prohibited this web forward from being savedThere were problems with the following fields:

Forward to is invalid

any ideas!? surely it isnt saying it is not possible to web fwd!?

Seems your domain host doesn't like the format of http:// if it's not followed by www. Can you contact the host and ask them?

Might be worth converting the tiscali address with this free program click here

Forget my 18:05, it doesn't work.
