Tiscali or me?

  .:?:. 19:58 05 Dec 06

My internet keeps signing out, and MSN logging off but I can instantly sign back in. And xfire (another IM) won't log back on.

I have run several anti-virus.spyware scans and found nothing but cookies.

My ISP is Tiscali and I am running through a router, but modem also does it.

Is it my computer or Tiscali?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply

Also forgot to say, it was doing the same last night, but after a while, everything was working fine! Strange!

I am bringing this up again as it is still causing me problems.

All was working last night from about 11 pm onwards and today up until about 7 pm. this has got me thinking that the problem is not a virus, unless there is one that is on a timer or something?

anyone help?

Hi, is your router secure, someone nearby might be interfering!

I am currently running on a modem, and it is still happening, so can't be router problems.

I am with Tiscali and there are no problems, except that when Outlook has been automatically sending/receiving messages the box showing Details/Progress has appeared even though it is ticked to be hidden. It seems OK now though

I am getting really pi**ed off now!

I have re-installed XP and updated etc etc

but, my internet is still messing around, MSN keeps logging its self out and xfire will not log in.

and as I previously said, it is only happening between certain times during the day.
It does it both with a modem and a router.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?
