tiscali and going wireless

  morgueman 14:04 08 Feb 07

Hello all, changed to Tiscali broadband, got a speedtouch modem to connect to my main pc. Also got a Netgear wireless modem, which i've just set up to go wireless for my laptop.
The question is, do i keep my speedtouch modem plugged in the USB port or not and if not can i just uninstall the speedtouch from my pc and keep the wireless has it is?
Thanks for any help with this,

How do you have two modems connected?

The speedtouch is, I presume, connected to the telephone jack through a filter?

How is the NEtgear connected?

Is the netgear just a router?

Thanks for the quick response! The speedtouch is connected via the usb port and then the phone jack. I disconnected the phone jack and put it into the wireless modem which is a adsl router and connected that to the phone port on my main pc. Everything works, just wondering if i can disconnet the speedtouch, etc!

Yes, from what I can see you can take away the Speedtouch modem. All seems to work fine.
