Tiscali broadband 721 error

I have just upgraded to the Tiscali x3 broadband service and have installed the modem, filters etc. Everything seems to work ok except after getting the 'Verifying userid and password etc I then get a 721 error message. The helpline have now advised me (after numerous attempts) that it is a mass problem in my area and is in the process of being sorted. Has anybody else had this problem and if so how long did it take to sort out??

if it is a mass problem in your area that means it is not just you affected. I believe tiscali broadband is a cable service rather than adsl. If that is the case it only takes one router to go down and you lose service. Be patient they will get it going as soon as possible after all they cant afford to have it down.
