Thunderbird - where are messages stored?

I have played with Thunderbird for some time now and am seriously thinking of breaking up with Becky! click here depsite a 7 year relationship :-{

Anyway, the ease the pain, I want to find out something about TB first of all: where is the data stored? With Becky! all data is stored in one folder which I could zip and backup / restore very easily.

Is there a simple means of doing this with Thunderbird?

I am like you I have downloaded Thunderbird and it is much quicker than Outlook, but I don't know how to back it up.

Is it here - C:\Documents and Settings\Name\Application Data\Mozilla ?

Thanks for those; the backup program looks good but I still prefer to do my own backup. At present I use Karen's replicator to do it for me - I will try copying (and if possible, changing the location of) the data folder.

Outlook Express allows the saving of Draft/Sent/Deleted messages and so does Thunderbird but where are they?
