Hi, I am using Thunderbird for email can anyone tell me how to delete all of it without having to highlight a block at a time and do it in stages. I cannot find this option.

Have you tried Ctrl+A to highlight All the emails in a folder then press Delete

lotvic's suggestion will transfer the e-mails to the Trash folder. To delete them completely press and hold Shift and then press Delete.
