Can anyone remind me how to save a Word template so that it provides a thumbnail when viewing to select a template. I used to be able to do it in Office 97. I now have Office 2007 and can't seem to find a way of doing it.

Where you see a list of your templates can you right click a piece of empty space and select view > small icons ?

I have tried the technique described in "Saving a preview" but for some reason it hasn't so far worked for me. I'll try again. Thanks for the tip

Found I had to do a reboot/restart before the preview appeared.

Did it work after a reboot?
