Thickness of CD's

My CD's were often getting stuck in the car CD player which meant taking it apart. I was told that this was due to copy CD's being thicker than originals. I have made a point of only using originals for the last few months and have not had any problems. I would appreciate any comments and like to know if any blanks are thinner than others.

According to Wiki answers The standard thickness of a CD is 1.2mm (about .05 inches), but can vary from 1.1 to 1.5mm.

Are you adding paper labels to the CDs that are getting stuck in you car CD player?
