Hi on start up now I get the follwing message. RunDLL There was a problem Starting C: Programs. The Specified Modular Could Not Be Found.

It started after I made a second User Account now its always popping up at restart or boot up on Desktop. Not if I close the desk top OFF on the ON Off button which is set to turn the PC off.

I have Googled the problem but havent found a saultion to get rid of it.

I removed the second account but it still remains.

Try this........- Click Start - Type the word msconfig into the Search box and press Enter - Untick every tick mark under the Startup tab. - Click the Services tab, then tick the box that hides the Microsoft services. - Untick every remaining tick mark. - Physically disconnect the machine from the Internet. - Reboot in Normal Mode. - If this fixes the problem, restore the tick marks in groups of 4 until you find the culprit, then leave it unticked. - Restore your Internet connection when finished.

Not sure how good or bad this is.

RunDLL is for 16Bit versions I believe.

Hi thanks for replies, I tried markd71 suggestion and the problem went away after following suggestions and re-booting. After re-ticking all in start up and services x4 the problem never returned. Maybe it was just the fact that unticking them all jolted it to correct its self. Thanks for your help.
