Hi

Is there any way of creating an arrow, i.e. ------- without the missing spaces?

There are some arrows in some of the Microsoft Fonts - Try Symbol and Wingdings

Go to Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Character Map (then you can browse each font set by selecting it in the dropdown list at the top).

Thanks for the replies, I am using windows XP.

However, I think I am doing something wrong:

Oldbeefer2, I followed your instructions, and selected from character map,the selected copy, when I pasted here, it's coming out as ????

I think oldbeefer2 means what program are you using when you want to insert the arrow..Excel, Word,etc...?? What is Clonnen ?

Nuts

Not sure what you mean by programme, if I wanted to put an arrow within this message, I would not use a programme.

Also Nuts, Clonnen, is the screen name above oldbeefer2
