TFT Screen Blurry

Purchased a new PC on Thursday, it came with a £309 17" Flatscreen TFT Monitor. The graphics in the PC when I bought it was a inbuilt Radeon 9100 chip. I've put my GeForce3 Ti 200 in it, but I can't adjust it to a resolution where my monitor is not blurry.

Currently, it seems to have blurred text and very minor shadows or ghosting around items.

As far as I know this is a resolution related problem, as with my other TFT monitor - I cannot gain a clear picture unless I use a 1024x768 res.

I can't exactly remember the resolution I used on the Radeon 9100, but I believe it was around 1200.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

nvm, fixed, needed refresh rate changing to 75Hz :P

A CRT monitor should be used with a minimum of 85MHz refresh rate which prevents the possibility of suffering from flicker.

The native resolution for a 17"tft is 1280x1024 using any other will give you a bad picture.

Also have you switched on Clear Type setting
