I have a IIyama Prolite E431S LCD
monitor attached to a Gigabyte Radeon 9600Pro 256mb ATI Graphics AGP accelerator card.

Initially I received a picture via DVI Connector.

I had to down the PC and disconnected the monitor. On reconnection I then could get no connection via DVI -only on analog cable. Can anyone tell me what the cause may be?

When I got a blue screen (of death) it was covered by vertical lines almost like morse code.

Is this my monitor or graphics card and how does ome fix it?

Would appreciate any of your thoughts.

It's possible the graphics card may just need re seating into it's slot (i.e. take it out and push it back in firmly, but not so hard you break it).

Done that - no improvement! The LCD has vertical broken lines in analog before entering Windows. Still cannot get a DVI signal. Do you think there is something wrong with the Graphics card or monitor.

Sorry but I put another post with a bit more detail.
