Testing for a faulty MBand CPU

  iqs 09:39 20 Jun 08

Just wondering what is the best procedure for testing if the MB or CPU has failed.

What are the signs, tests etc etc

Thank you

The only test I can think of would be to remove the CPU and see if you get a missing CPU message.

Chances are if you have a machine that has a problem,it wont be the cpu but possibly the power supply unit or mobo.

If you have a specific problem, can we help ?
