Terminal Services in Server 2003 Std Edition

I'm experiencing major issues with regards to printers within Terminal Services sessions. I have a few client who use remote desktop to run a particular software package as TS is faster then VPN. When they connect, they make sure the printer is taken across into the session which is fine. However, the printer comes through ok, but after a few seconds or minutes, the printer drops and disappears and they are not able to print at all.

At the moment, i have noticed that only 2 printers are carried into the session at a given point although i have 3 clients running the same system. Please can someone help shed some light on this matter as i have tried many things including altering the registry settings to make KeepAlive stay on...

The server has the following specs:

Windows 2003 Standard Edition with 10 CALS
5 Terminal Server CALS
P4 3.0Ghz CPU
2GB Ram
2x 73Gb SCSI HDDs

Any suggestions are welcomed.
