Temporary files created by VCD creation

I have just created a VCD for a friend of a family do. I use Pixela which came with the DV camcorder. I notice that it saves the footage to Hard disk first then transfers it to CD.

What I want to know is does the information laid to hard disk stay there or is it automatically removed when the VCD is finally created?

I cannot find any trace of it. It states that it saves it to a temporary file but I can't find it.

Hi, I am not familiar with Pixela, but often the Temp files are just that - Temp - and removed when program has finished with them.

Happy New Year.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I thought that was probably the case, just want to be sure as not to have loads of space wasted with unwanted Video footage.

Thanks again
