Temporary Files

I'm getting a file called Kan6194.TMP keeping on triggering my Norton Firewall into action. I've tried to delete but can't as it brings up a message that it may be in use somewhere on the system, although I'm pretty sure It should'nt be there!

Any ideas on how to zap the little bugger?

You'll find it's probably something to do with your firewall, this is the file that is resident in my Temp folder that ZoneAlarm puts there: ZLT00bee.TMP

Don't worry.

Ah, I must learn to read, you say it triggers your fire wall, is it trying to access the internet?

You could trying to remove it either in safe mode, or in DOS.

click here This shows what you have running with the option on taskbar/menu to "kill" anything you want to stop running and you can delete it. If your PC starts behaving oddly without the file you can always R click to restore it.
