temp internet files in XP

hi..in windows 98 i could get to the temp internet files by opening the windows folder and clicking the temp internet folder,and anything i wanted to keep i could drag to a folder, this pc has got winXP with a file system NTFS..could someone please tell me where they are now,

The easiest way to get there is to start IE, Tools/Internet options, Settings and View files,

When you do this, Windows Explorer opens and you can work out the path from there.

somewhere in Documents&settings_user (whoever you are)_ Local settings (I think - that is how win2k is).

Do a local search for temporary and it should find the folder for you.

In your c: drive go to:

Documents and settings

open your user eg 'magik'

open loacl settings

and there you will find your tempoary internet files.

You might have to select show hidden file files first to get to them.
