Telewest Broadband

A friend of mine is getting Telewest broadband and I said I had a wireless router for him.

However, I am unsure if it would work with cable. Does anyone know what connection the wireless router would use to connect to the cable network? eg my adsl wireless router connects using the phone line into the router then wireless signal to the PC. Would this be true of cable?

Just follow the instructions with the router.

I don't think you can use an ADSL router with cable.

my system is a home network of four PCs.. each PC
has a NIC wireless card which works with Netgear
wireless router.. This is plugged into a Cable Modem (supplied by Telewest) which connects my
home LAN to the TeleWest WAN... Works OK..
Hope this helps..
