Telephone answering software

  Kernow Man 11:50 06 Mar 05

I am looking for (a reasonably priced) telephony software solution which would allow a PC to act as an answering machine (single line) but with the ability to tell callers to press button 1 for, 2 for, 3 for, etc. This would then pass to a further pre-recorded message giving more specific information. Naturally it would also need to record messages that the press button solutions didn’t deal with fully.

Any ideas, anyone?

will do just that.

I got it on a disc that came with my modem driver some years back.

Pacific Image Communications is the company behind it. Do a search on google and you'll probably come up with a suitable version. The version I have is made for win 95 and is a bit "clunky" in it's inteface.

Good luck,
