I have just come across a very helpful part of the sales website at Scan Computers ( click here )

I have bought various items from Scan, their returns for faulty goods has been most efficient too, I had a couple of USB pen drives fail.

Whilst looking for mother board and processor, I noticed this link. click here It gives some interesting and helpful information and hints in sections including descriptions of AMD & Intel CPUs, RAM, Guides on Networking etc and how to install Windows XP.

Worth a look.

I been using Scan for many years, both online and by visiting its premises about half-a-mile from the rear of the Reebok Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers - I've also used Dabs since 1988, which used to be based in Leyland before moving to Westhoughton.

Both offer an amazing range of products but, as sometimes is the case, returning faulty goods can sometimes prove a problem, although you can still visit Scan personally if it's convenient for you.
