tcp/ip help!

Does any one know how to enable tcp/ip in windows xp so that i can enjoy my new broadband connection.

click here this changes registry setting if you are not comfortable doing this then do not try.Use at your own risk as the readme notes say look under the broadband tab

firstly, do you have a network card installed? e.g. a 10/100MB Ethernet card

if you don't, you need one

once you have installed the card, and the drivers, look under network connections, then right click on local area network, this should be your card that you just installed. (if you see 1394 here, thats firewire, nothing to do with your internet)

now, right click on the local area connection, and select properties, you should see that TCP/IP is already installed, just look in the list of items on the first page
