Taskbar Icon - 'Internet Gateway: Unconfigured'

I've just set-up a home network with shared broadband connection through a Netgear DG834G router and a check via Symantec Security Check shows that everything is secure. The base PC is wired to the router and is dual-boot (98SE + XP Pro). I've run the Network setup on both sectors.
Indeed everything appears to operate great but a new 'Network Neighborhood' type icon has appeared in on the right of my task bar in 98SE which doesn't respond to any mouse clicks (left or right) but hovering brings up a text box 'Internet Gateway: Unconfigured'.

Is this anything to be concerned about?

If everything is working as it should be, and you have reliable internet access with that PC via the Netgear router, then just ignore it. An "Internet Gateway" icon frequently appears in the Network Connections folder in XP, but I haven't actually seen it in 98SE, but don't worry about it.
