The taskbar on my Windows screen has suddenly moved to the top from it's usual place at the bottom. How can I restore it to the botom?

Right click it make sure Lock the taskbar is unticked. Left click, hold the mouse button down and drag it to the location you want. Lock the taskbar.

Many thanks, but I'd already tried this and it doesn't work. All that happens is that the space expands vertically.

Keep trying what VoG™ has suggested, it can be a bit of a pain to get back where you want it but it should work okay.

You need to left click in the middle of the task bar - not the edge - then drag it to a new position.

You will most likely have dragged it to its new position inadvertently so, as VoG™ has advised, drag it back advertently....:-)

It might be worth dragging it to the side first and then down to the bottom.

Don't forget when you have it back lock it to prevent it happening again
