Task Manager Link Speed

What does the Link Speed mean on my Task manager?
Is it my connection speed?
I am supposed to connect at 600K B/Band, but Task manager reads 100mbps.
Running Win Xp Home.

Task Manager - you mean the system tray with various icons at the bottom right corner?

If so, and if your broadband connection is done via your network card on the computer, the 100 mbps only refers to the theoretical transfer speed of the ethernet card on your computer, and has nothing to do with the actual transfer speed of your broadband.

Ok. I mean right click on taskbar and select Task Manager; and then selecting Networking tab. Is your reply the same? Thanks.
