HI, I have just joined Talk Talk and I use the yahoo toolbar to access my Mail , to add a new button I need the IP address of the talktalk webmail and for some reason they will not give it out, can any one help me to find it??

Why are you wasting your time using web mail?

Use an e-mail client instead. That way you don't have to mess about logging in at their site every time.

I am with TT and just get my email using my outlook Express. Then its just a click away.
If you open outlook up and go to tools then mail then add. follow the prompts.
pop3 will be ..mail.talktalk.net
smtp will be..smtp.talktalk.net
then use your email address and password where it askes for it.
you should be set up then.
If you join the talktalk forums at "talktalkmembers.com" you can find out in there exactly what to do. hope this helps you.

I am able to access all my mail I just want to add a short cut button to my yahoo tool bar is it too much to ask??

"is it too much to ask??"

No need to be facetious.

We offered you a simpler alternative.

Is that a problem?

By using the link posted by Clapton is God as starter point I get:

mail.talktalk.net [62.24.128.134]

from talktalkmembers.com/forums click here

Hi, I have still not been able to find the correct address for the Talktalk mail.

  lotvic 16:25 PM 31 Mar 09

I have just done a ping for talktalk mail servers, seems to be okay - no packets lost.

It gives me:
mail.talktalk.net [62.24.128.134]
smtp.talktalk.net [62.24.128.139]

Suggest you do a ping and traceroute
Open a Command Prompt (Start > Run > and type cmd in the box and click on OK)
a black screen with white writing will appear with a flashing cursor after some white writing.

Copy and paste the following in:

tracert mail.talktalk.net
ping mail.talktalk.net
tracert smtp.talktalk.net
ping smtp.talktalk.net

then it will just do the ping and traceroute you don't have to press anything else until you close the box in the normal way.
