Taking a re-installable snapshot of entire system

For the 2nd time in a month, I've had to rebuild from scratch my WinXP system. I've now got it such that all s/w is installed and up to date, and I'd like to store a snapshot of this happy state such that I can quickly restore it if and when I need to do a 3rd rebuild. What's the easiest and best method?

You nead a program like Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost

Most people here probably use Acronis True Image.

You can get a free copy from the Seagate site, if you have a Seagate or Maxtor drive, it's called Disk Wizard.

It's a cut-down version of Acronis - it will make complete Images and clones - but not incremental images.
