Anyone else surprised by the sudden change in this addon? Anyone know anything about Abine, the company behind it? Are they trustworthy? The thing seems to work but takes a hell of a lot of memory up.

Was originally an opt out for flash cookies used by a myriad of advertisers to track your web movements. It was a simple thing that worked. Now its a veritable suite of things that eats memory and, not being a programmmer, I have no idea if the company behind it are kosher in their avowed aim to help boost user privacy. They say the code is open source so if someone with the knowledge looked it over I guess they could tell.
