I have a 7" Asus tablet about 2 years old. Since a system update a couple of days ago, it has gone slow and is constantly freezing, notably when using Facebook. It also crashed in midflight while synchronising my aps with the updated system. Any ideas how to overcome this?

I would be tempted to do a factory reset

Assumming its a Asus Memo Pad HD7

  1. With the tablet off, push and hold the Power & Volume Down keys (for some terminals this works with the Volume Up button instead).

  2. A small menu will appear. Select the second option, “Recovery Mode”.

  3. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset from the available options.

  4. Enter Yes to confirm and let the device initialize.
