Systray not showing startup icons

  woodt 10:38 13 Oct 03

My desktop has just started to behave very strangely in that the programs which used to appear in my sytray no longer do. These include Messenger and FreeMem Pro and Opus Directory . I have tried msconfig and selected them one at a time but still no joy, any sussestions?

I use XP Pro and have four users on my PC.

Are the icons being hidden when inactive? Right click on a blank part of the systray and choose Properties. In the Notification area of the Dialog box, untick the "Hide inactive icons" option.
