Systray Has Caused an error in Kernel32.dll

Please help,

I've just upgraded to an Athlon Thunderbird 1GHZ processor, EPOX 8KTA2 mobo.

I updated Zone Alarm and installed this but before rebooting I installed Pop Up Stopper and have started to get this message. I am also getting other error messages also relating to kernell32.dll.

How can I resolve this problem, short of reformatting?

Thanks for any help

depending on your os; System File Checker: RUN/ type sfc and replace files from os disc. Or reinstall os over itself (no loss of data but b/up in case).

Thanks MichelleC

I tried as you suggested but got the message "Windows cannot find SFC". Will try to load Windows again, I am using ME.

Hi Fatbloke1,

have you tried uninstalling popupkiller and rebooting your pc and then seeing if you still get the Kernel32.dll error message?

Also try here

Also type kernel32.dll error into the search option on this site, there are quite a few threads.
