Systemax PC boot problem

Hi, I've got a strange problem with my PC. I recently almost re-built it from scratch; new motherboard, processor, graphics card and PSU. It works fine but when switching the power on the PC justs sits there for 10 minutes before it starts to boot. No error messages appear and it works fine once boot-up completes.

Any ideas?

could be anything, But I would first try a new Working PSU that as enough power to drive the hardware

The PSU isn't the problem. The PC works perfectly once the initial 10 minute wait prior to bootup is over. Thanks for replying though.

Yes that could be the PSU

I really don't think it is as its rated at 700W and was bought specifically to have the oomph to power an nVidia 8800 GTS graphics card.

The PSU may have a fault that requires a component to "warm up"

Try another PSU BEFORE trying anything else, yor symptoms are typical of a PSU problem.
