System tray icon

I have an icon that has appeared in my system tray (XP PRO SP3).

I had some spyware appear on my pc, but Spybot cleared it but I am left with this icon. If you click on it takes you to a website. I have tried hiding it, but it comes back with a restart.
I can put the link in a future post, but only if it is necessary.

Can anyone offer some advice on its removal?

Go to Start>Run> type msconfig and hit Enter. click on the "Start" tab and look for it. Untick the box and Apply.Restart your computer. You will get a message about changes Tick "Do not show this again"

"I had some spyware appear on my pc, but Spybot cleared it but I am left with this icon."

So Spybot hasn't totally cleared it.

Startup_cpl is a far superior way of troubleshooting and stopping software that starts automatically.

The above link also helps with using it.
