System Tools missing

  steved99 11:24 26 Dec 06

I want to defrag my hard disk and am sure that I used to do this via the menu path Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Defrag.

System tools no longer appears under the accessories sub-menu. I've therefore also lost the option to do a disk cleanup.

1) How do I defrag my hard disk without this option?

2) How can I restore the system tools menu?

If you have somehow lost your windows tools you can reinstall them by going to add/remove programs in Control Panel and if you look at the left hand side you will see a tab that says something like add/remove windows accessories and you can reinstall from there.
