system shutdown

when i go online (internet or emails) i get a "system shutdown" message appear. message reads "windows must restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly". This contains a countdown and shuts down and restarts the computer after 1 min.

anyone know what is causing this?? If so, how can i fix it.

running XP and IE.

Go to another PC. Download the MS Patch. click here Install it WITHOUT going on line.

Also get and use Stinger to clean the PC click here

Then update your AV or get AVG free click here
