It looks like your system restore files are corrupted, I did read some time ago that when one restore point is corrupted the rest will be also. The only remedy is to turn of system restore (right click My Pc/System Restore Tab - Turn off System Restore), then reboot, re-enable system restore. You new system restore points should be ok from then on. It's worth making a restore point then trying a restore to it & check it works ok. However none of the above will help you if you have problems & need to go back.
