System Restore won't restore

  Yimbo 10:49 31 Aug 07

The title really says it all! Recently, when I choose System Restore, it takes me through all the steps, but on re-starting, I get the message "Your computer cannot be restored to this date - No changes have been made to your computer - please choose another date". But all the other restore points get the same response. I use XP (home) with SP2. Any ideas folks?

I had this problem a while ago and the advice given to me was to turn off system restore, which means you will lose all restore points, then turn sys restore back onand restart pc. Then, when you get new restore points it should work ok. It did for me.
