System Restore and Symantec

I read something in the Daily Telegraph today that maybe will interest some or all of you that use NAV or NIS 2006 or later.

According to the article the above named Symantec software can interfere with how System Restore works. There is a fix for it at tinyurl/mfl6v

If you have trouble this might help. The article was in todays Daily Telegraph in the Telegraph Review Section Page 22. J.B.

there was a post ages ago about this. you need to temp disable nis to do a system restore otherwise norton blocks it and sytem restore fails.
