System Restore- Out of memory?

I am trying to use system restore in Windows ME which I have used successfully before. When I try to use it now, when I select a date to restore to a box appears with Internet Explorer as the headinding and then the message "Out of Memory in Line 127". I can click OK and highlight the restore point but when I click "next" nothing happens. Any ideas please?

Open system restore, click system restore settings, click settings & check that the disc space useage is set to maximum

I have checked that and it is at maximum!

do you have a setting to delete all but the most recent restore point?

Don't remember seeing that option. I'll check tonight.

i would, contrary to the advice above, reduce the ammount of space system restore is using by draging the slider to say 5%

this should still give you enough restore points to choose from without it taking over the whole disk.
