System Properties will not open

Right clicking "My Computer" I receice a message
"Run a DLL as an APP has encountered a problem and needs to close" I then canott open System Properties

Start menu/run, type sysdm.cpl, press return. Or press Windows key and Pause/Break.
Do you get the same error?

Something you could try is another way, Go to Start\System\Control Panel, Right Click on System Icon and drag onto start button or quick start Bar, choose Create Shortcut. On Start button just right drag and drop it
