Hiya all,

I was just wondering, how many system processes does everyone run on average...

I normally run around 40 to 45 when ever i check. Is this a lot? I know it's all comparative to how your pc copes. For instance 40 processes may be fine on my pc but on someone elses may be too many.

I currently have 23 processes running, this is with XP sp1, though I have been into services and stopped a lot from running and have others set to manual.

The processes may be there, but you will see that the only one running is 'System Idle'!
