System File Checker

I have created a bootable Windows CD and slipstreamed SP1 to it. When I run sfc /scannow I am asked to put the CD in the drawer and then nothing happens, clicking on 'more information', I get the following possible reasons,

"You have inserted the wrong CD (i.e., a different windows product cd than the version installed)"
"The CD Rom drive in your system is not functioning"

Neither of these is correct. I need help to move on from this impasse, please. Having at last managed to get a CD, I really would like to be able to use the File-Check facility.
I have checked and the CD runs from the drive and seems to be perfect in every way so I do hope someone can help me.

The error can occur if the file " win51ip.sr1 " ( it's in the XP Sp1 .exe file) is missing from the Root of the Slipstreamed CD, if it isnt then either extract it or use the email envelope to email me and I will send it to you.

Have checked and the file is there, so must be something else.
