syst info - problem device

put my pc together ok, up and running with no yellow ! marks in device manager.

had a look in system info/componants/problem devices and i have 9 entries 5 reading:-

ACPI IRQ FOR PCI IRQ STEERING - ERROR CODE 22

and the other 4 read :-

ACPI IRQ FOR PCI IRQ STEERING - ERROR CODE 9

i dont have any conflicts reported.
can anyone help me with this?

If nothing is happening with your computer, then just ignore it...

But if you can't then go into device manager and see if there are any Exclamtion marks etc...

Start > Settings > Control Panel > System
(win 98)

Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager (Win XP)

thanks, apparently its a feature of win me, not a fault you understand cos ms doesnt have faults in their software, no its a feature that win me uses when it doesnt no WTF its meant to be doing.

Looks like you need to enable IRQ steering.

Go to Device Manager > System Devices > PCI bus > Properties > IRQ Steering

Click on the "Set Defaults" button.
