SYMSTORE.DLL NOT FOUND

on start up this morning got two error messages
symstore.dll not found re-installing may resolve
and
cctrust.dll with same info
anyone any idea as to how i can restore

They seem to be Symantec files, so if you have any Symantec programs installed, try re-installing those applications, or if you have them on disk, search the CD for those files and re-install from there, or, if you're using XP or ME try a system restore. At worse you can untick the entries for any Symantec programs in msconfig, that will cure the error messages but won't cure the cause of the problem.

Hi timber. Both these files are associated with Norton Internet Security, so if you have this installed, it may be necessary to reinstall it or download a patch. click here. If you have had Norton Internet Security and removed it, you may need to remove any registry reference manually or with Regclean click here or JV16 Powertools click here.

have unticked entries in config okay now.
just realized had been using system emchanic yesterday and that may have caused the problem
