symantec advise and help please

having cleared my system of all things "norton",i did a search for "symantec" and came up with these,please advise if i can delete them if possable thanks.
in "cavsn_old.log-notepad" found 11,321kb
in " spuninst.inf",i found over 100 files of between 7 and 40 kb,.
any help appreciated

Yes you can delete them.

And, having done that, get rid of any leftovers with click here

Generally log files can be deleted, as they are mostly kept on so that if you reinstall norton from your system, it will know all of your preferences and the history of your scans.
With regards to the inf files, they are generally more risky to delete. I would recommend choosing carefully which files you delete, and moving backing them up, just in case they are needed.
Also please note the use of "generally" and "mostly" as sometimes these can be risky things to be deleting, but if you back them up properly, making note of where the files belong, you should have no problem.
