Sygate install problem

  bamfiesler 20:09 04 Aug 05

Go fed up with McAfee always requesting subs verification, and decided to go back to Sygate. Twice I have downloaded the freebie firewall - from separate mirror sites - and each time I reboot Sygate fails to load properly, the CPU usage runs to 100%, and the XP error reposting message appears.

All other programs are disabled, so I can't figure out what's going on. Only thing different is the recent re-install of XP.

Thanx, etc.

Looks spophisticated but I ran into difficulties. Used Zone Alarm, straightfoward.

Just put McAfee back on. Anything for an easy life!

Cheers, anyway.

For some reason Sygate doesn't seem to like Broadband if that is what you're running. I switched to 'Outpost'
