Hi,

I was asked a simple question today that I'm not sure of the answer too.

If you're running a laptop on battery power and the low battery warning comes up can you just plug it into the mains without turning the laptop off first?

Cheers Chris.

Yes I do it all the time never had any trouble.

Also if you are going to use the mains most of the time best to remove the battery completely and just run off the mains it extends the battery life., as the battery is constantly being fed a charge and the heat reduces there charge capacity
